Second, today’s affirmation was inspired by one of my clients. I love coaching because it’s just as much a learning experience for me as it is for those I work with.

We talked about the need to constantly do do do in order to be and feel worthy. And how even then it’s not enough.

So use this affirmation often to remind yourself you don’t have to prove your worth.

Choosing happiness (affirmation)

It’s easy to feel powerless over your thoughts, but in truth our thoughts are the only thing we can control.

We can’t change other people.

We can’t change what happens outside of us.

But we can change what goes on in our minds.

Happiness is a choice – not always easy (ugh hormones) and it’s not always automatic.

But the more often you choose better feeling thoughts, the easier it becomes.

*Remember: if you are feeling bad, don’t use this to cover it up. There’s nothing wrong with feeling whatever you’re feeling, but when you feel yourself starting to dwell or obsess about it, you can use this as a reminder that happiness is an option and is available to you.
